Welcome to ZT. You have chosen to learn one of the beastiest programming languages on
planet earth. Although ZT's syntax is easy to learn, it's an adventure to write even
a small loop.
An example: the classic "Hello World!" program in ZT. On the left side you see pure ZT source code, on the right side source code with program flow (purple = jump).
The ZT programming language is quite romantic: it features little data couples (Romeos & Juliets). ZT program flow is diagonal and commands are defined only by program flow.
All a professional ZT coder needs is available here for free: read the complete ZT documentation or start programming right now with the powerful platform independent ZT interpreter.
Wow! Thanks to Brien Colwell, he wrote a ZT Compiler in Java. It converts procedural code to beasty ZT code (it's included in the zt.rar download-package)
Yeah! Lots of thanks to Yoshiki Kumagai aka Mebius, he wrote a C++ ZT Interpreter and a great "99 Bottles of Beer" ZT version (also included in zt.rar)
How do you like ZT? Have you written an MP3 player in ZT? Or a powerful DivX encoder?
me your comments, results and ZT-programs!
